A Most Immense Inheritance
Inheritance in the Eighteenth Century and Romantic Period

Cambridge University’s Annual Graduate Conference will be held on 2nd-3rd April 2011. In this academic year the literary event seeks to consider the ways in which eighteenth-century and Romantic texts respond to ideas of inheritance. A period that has given birth to much of the modern world might prove a fertile spot in which to consider how writers conceived of their heritage, and the legacy they in turn left for future generations.
