Polly Bull

Polly Bull completed her BA in History at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005. Her MA in Gender History from Royal Holloway, University of London was completed in 2008, with her dissertation entitled, Femininity and Print Culture in the Eighteenth Century, supervised by Amanda Vickery.

Polly is currently working on a PhD at RHUL, funded by an Overseas Research Student Award from HEFCE. She investigates eighteenth-century men and women readers, using diaries to understand reading experience, gender and sociability. She is supervised by Amanda Vickery and Justin Champion.
